It's basically shapes and the calendar, so to spend that amount of $$ was not my favorite thing to do, but since I got free shipping it wasn't too bad. It was worth it since I didn't have to make up my own calendar.

My only complaint is pages are really thin, and I wish it had the entire year and not just the school year. Other than that my son loves it, and it's a great way to teach calendar.

This product was a bit disappointing to me. I think I could have printed this up myself for a much more reasonable price. However, working with Christianbook.com was great.

This is a great teaching tool especially for the calendar, and writing numbers. It's very repetitious, but the kids don't seem to mind.

This is my second time using Saxon Math K. My son is 4 1/2 and we home school. He loves the hands on activities, and the entire program is scripted for the teacher/parent. I am using Saxon 1 with my daughter, and it continues to suit our needs, if you are looking ahead.

Since the curriculum only comes with the Meeting Book & Teacher's Guide, you kinda need the book. A little too simple for my 5 1/2 yr. old, however.

Saxon Math K has been fun. My pre-k twins are enjoying it. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it only has enough lessons to do math 2 or 3 times a week. Also it seems a little too easy. Like I said, we are enjoying it for pre-k, for kindergarten we will be using something else. They love to fill in their own calendar too!

This is an easy set to use with the teacher's book. My 4 year old loves it, and it makes it very easy to learn the days and months. The repetition reinforces everything he learns.
