Saxon's Meeting Book is a blank calendar designed to keep track of your student's progress in Saxon Math 3. Check off when the daily exercise-whether telling time or problem solving-is practiced. The calendar follows a school year, beginning in August and ending in July. The back also contains tips for learning the months of the year, a place for birthdays, measurement, number words, counting strips and zigzag number line. 24 pages, softcover.

I've used Saxon for all my kids math after 3rd grade and have appreciated it very much. The third grade is a little disappointing and confusing (there are too many pieces). I thought the Meeting Book an un-necessary purchase.

excellent for implementing into daily activities, takes stress out of " math word problems" which tend to be confusing for kids and makes it easy for them to comprehend.

This is our second year using Saxon Math. Last year we used Math 2. Although I give Saxon Math 3 program as a whole 'five stars', I would give this aspect of the program a 1. It is not near as comprehensive and vital as it was in Math 2. I am very disappointed in the calendar set up.
