Dr. Lamsa, with the aid of one of his Bible students, took the time to diligently catalog numerous idiomatic phrases found throughout the Bible. This work assists readers in understanding the Eastern phraseology found in the Bible. Dr. Lamsa's work helps serious Bible students to get closer to enlightenment of the Scriptures. Although Dr. Lamsa only reveals linguistic meanings of idiomatic phrases studied, when reflected upon these meanings serve to unveil the spiritual meaning behind them. Serious Bible students should not stop consulting the context of the Scriptures, when using this Bible study aid. That being said, Dr. Lamsa's work is a must have reference to build our Biblical understanding.

should be titled 'idioms of the Bible spiritualized' NOT explained....though part 2 was a little better in terms of providing background and some clarity to particular situations, for the most part, it was a waste of money.....get a good study Bible instead
