I found a dusty copy of this in the corner of a San Diego bookstore back in the 1980's. After reading many other books on the subject of guy-gal relationships, this one finally answered the questions...with Scripture. Flip to the back and all Elizabeth's "still timely" points are anchored in the Bible, verse by verse. It is refreshing to see such a solid biblical handling of the topic of romance, purity, leadership and what God expects of me, the guy...from a godly gal's perspective. And then God gave me a godly gal! Using the Scripture, this makes a great topical study.

Read this many years ago, and it enormously helped shape my character. Returing to it again I find fresh perspective and more areas that I need to grow in! A MUST READ for any Christian man who desires to leave a Godly mark on the world!

Amazing book! My boyfriend read it and suggested that I do the same so as to further understand the kind of man he wants to be for me. It has helped us to define our roles in a God-centered relationship. I would suggest this book for any guy who seeks to become a true Christian man and spiritual leader.

Wonderful book for Christian men. The message may not all be "politically correct" but it's based on the Scripture and very needed for this generation. I have given this book to many young brothers in our youth group.
