Dunn gives us strong, memorable characters and a realistic plot. You won’t know who or how many “done it” until close to the very end. Wyatt and Christine have a past that surfaces in their thoughts throughout the book.

This is my first time reading Sharon Dunn's work. It was good. Given the opportunity, I would read a story written by her again.
Broken Trust resonated with just the right about of romance and suspense to keep me wondering if the guy and the girl would make it out alive and be able to overcome the obstacles to their feelings, both external and internal.
Once broken, trust is hard to reestablish, but with God all things are possible. Can Christine and Wyatt trust Him long enough to believe in each other again? Read and find out.
***I received this book free for review. The above is my honest opinion.

FBI Special Agent Wyatt Green sneaks into a rural Montana setting, where ten years earlier agents shot a teen and he left the love of his life. Former agent Christine Norris married a rancher in the area and is now the local sheriff. Sparks fly when the Wyatt and Christine meet again, and not romantic ones—or is there still a fire to kindle? Wyatt doesn’t know that Christine’s husband died in an accident, and she isn’t aware he has given his life to Christ. Will working together on this case draw them back together or drive them apart?
A member of a radical militia group has kidnapped his young son and disappeared. Residents are wary of federal involvement after the former catastrophe, so Wyatt and his partner try to keep a low profile. However, incidents continue to pop up—a bomb, threats, a suspicious fire, gunshots, accidents—and the tension only increases each day.
This thriller of a romantic suspense keeps the reader wondering what could possibly happen next. Will Christine and her six-year-old daughter, Eva, be okay? Will anyone else die? How could a peaceful community hide such a violent undercurrent? When you reach the final page, you can final draw a deep breath and hope for a sequel.

This was my first time reading a book by Sharon Dunn. I loved it and have already recommended it to others. I'll certainly read her other books as well. It was fast paced and kept me turning the pages. A truly great read!

Sharon's book is well balanced for a genre that tends to get a bit sappy with the romantic elements. The active plot drives the story, not the kissing scenes. It is fast paced, not predictable, and makes you have to turn the page to see what happens next. Faith is woven into the characters in natural way. it feels realistic, not forced to meet a publisher's expectation.
Overall a great read. Well done, Sharon!
