I home-school my children (this year, they enter Kindergarten and 2nd grade) and used a paper calendar and weather center last year. It barely held up through the year. This pocket chart from Learning Resources will last us several years, I'm thinking, especially since the year cards go up to 2015! It is sturdy and well-made. I love all the extra blank squares for personalizing days or activities. It would be nice to have a separate storage pouch for all the cards, but I just use a zip-lock bag. I love that this pocket chart has the weather, season and days "today, yesterday, tomorrow" along with the full month calendar! The kids like that there are two color choices for the number days.

My daughter loves to follow this each day! It teaches her some basics for Kindergarten. A great teaching tool!
