Twelve-year-old Michael lives in Paris, France during World War II with his family and works with his friend to resist the Nazis. At first they did small things, but then Michael wants to do more and joins the French Resistance, leading American and British aviators along secret routes out of France so that they may fight the Germans again. But Nazi spies are everywhere . . . will Michael risk his life to defend his country's freedom? A fictional account based upon true experiences.
