I find myself relating to Katy on so many levels, and almost every page. I have been continually encouraged by how she "flys to her Savior" to find the comfort, truth, and strength to persevere that she does. I want to model for my friends and family the humility and dependence on the Lord this beautiful character does, and see it cover over my tendency to condemn myself, like in the book.

I can see why this book had such a profound impact on great women of God I look up to, like Elisabeth Elliot, etc. I have found such a fresh revelation of Jesus' patience and desire to completely sanctify us by HIS power, and not our efforts of striving.

I LOVE this book!

Have a highlighter in your hand when reading this book. It is not just a fun story. It is full of biblical principles and advice for living. An excellent gift for girls graduating from high school. Every young woman should read this book!

While the version of this book wasn't by this publisher, I agree it is a classic worth collecting and cherishing. "Stepping Heavenward" is life changing literature, to be sure, inspiring the reader to deep heart searching and surrender to our Lord. I describe it to my friends as a combination of what I like about Little Women and Pride and Prejudice, with great spiritual depth also.
