This is the autobiography of one of today's leading neurosurgeons. While pursuing his career, Carson encountered prejudice as an African American, negative peer pressure, and politics in getting a job. His sense of humor, faith in God and his belief in work ethics have led him to his wonderful career.

All African-Americans should get to know about this man. This is a Christian story as much as it is a story about a remarkable man.

I volunteer at the Buffalo City Mission and was looking for a story that might inspire some of the homeless men that come to lunch on any given day. Although, most summer days, they don't hang around but during the colder months they are allowed to sit in the lounge after their meal and watch TV. This made me think that an inspirational DVD would be good for the soul.

This was an interesting commentary about a truly remarkable man and his amazing story, BUT I accidentaly ordered this (from another online source)expecting to buy the actual movie. The Zondervna product is not the 90 minute movie.

This is an excellent video! Since I have a grandson who may need brain surgery, I have special interest in Dr Ben Carson. This video brought many tears to my eyes.

If this had a rating of TEN, that would be my choice. I've watched this 4 times in the last 4 days. It is thrilling, encouraging, heartwarming, wonderful! And it is about a real person, a doctor as far from arrogant as you can get! A believing, praying doctor growing up in a poor neighborhood, and his single mother who loved and believed him to uncommon courage and success. At a young age, he became the first neurosurgeon to ever surgically separate conjoined twins. Exciting! You will love it.
