A Young Lady
"We seek him here, we seek him there, those Frenchies seek him everywhere...." I absolutely adore this book! It is, without a doubt, my favorite novel! This book has something for everyone: mystery, romance, excitement, intrigue, surprise...and more! The author takes you back through time to the Reign of Terror, and you can actually feel the exquisitely beautiful Marguerite's pain, joy, and surprise throughout the book! The Scarlet Pimpernel (I shall let you see who it is on your own!) is the most handsome, dashing, daring, brave, gallant, compassionate hero known to the world of literature! And let's not forget Chauvelin- the most villainous villain there is! I would definitely recommend this book for readers of all ages!P.S. A little hint: The first few chapters are a little slow, but don't let that stop you! You'll see how it all ties in with the rest of the book as you read. You'll be glad you continued reading- it's well worth it!
