This is the best Bible I have found for someone that
teaches or preaches. Besides an all-out commentary,
this outline of the Bible really dissects the book, chapter
and verse. And it gives a preacher several sermon

I like this Bible but it being a study Bible you have to remember some of the info is put in by a man.It causes me to ponder and seek the Lord more in the thoughts Mr.Scofield shares in his definitions of words/his meanings of certain words . I would recommend prayer and a Strong's concordance on studying the Bible.

This Scofield Bible is not just well made, it is full of wonderful helps for your study of Gods Word. The list of proper names alone has been a wonderful aid, that my other study Bibles do not have. I would highly recommend this Bible to all who strive to get more understanding from Scripture.

I cherish the Word of God with my whole being. I've had a lot of Bibles through the years and this is becoming my favorite. I love the depth of study,the potent and relevant references and for the price, the content and bonded leather makes it an exceptional value. The book introductions give valuable information and the maps and red letter addition aids in study.

I purchased this Bible for my 14 year old grandson, who, I might add, is well versed concerning its contents. I wanted an indepth study Bible for him and this one was the perfect choice. He absolutely loves it and I'm sure will cherish it for the rest of his life.

The Scofield Bible was a gift for my mother. My father had bought her a Schofied Bible before they were married. It is now falling appart and she has wanted a new one for years. She was so pleased when it arrived. She feels like it is an old friend.

This bible is basically an updated version of the Old Scofield I was given 40 years ago. I love the thumb tabs and the red print for Jesus' words - it gives the text more emphasis. I did however, find the cover not as soft and supple as the 40-year old version I have. My hope is that with use and time, the cover will soften and be more comfortable to use.
