Only in the first (very big) chapter, and I'm already impressed by Baxter's incredibly thoughtful treatise on the Biblical family. It even has a very long, philosophically stimulating passage which explains the trials of marriage to young men. Wish I'd read it before getting married!

The editor did a fine job, too, making sure all the Latin phrases had English translations, and that words unknown to most modern readers had asterisks to help make the incredibly verbose and poetic quality accessible. I give this an A+, easily, and when I have children, I'm going to force them to read it.
