I started reading this book just a few weeks ago. Right now, I'm almost finished with it, and all I can say is that the Lord has really blessed me through this book. It touches on most of the kinds of struggles I've faced spiritually, and it has given me encouragement that I will overcome in my future struggles. This book also helped me to understand that even if I don't always overcome, and I do fall short, that Jesus still loves me and that will never change. This book is short and packed with so many good things. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all for purchasing this book.

I am currently doing a research on the subject of why christians suffer and how they should response to it. I found this book a treasure in times of darkness. Only people who are going through pain and suffering will know what a blessing this book is. I will make it compulsory reading for those who wish to mature in Christ.

After the loss of my husband at the age of 38 years old, I was left as a young widow with three teenagers. This book ministered to me in a mighty way. God brought it into my life at a time when I felt like giving up. David Wilkerson reminded me, through his book, of the God who loves me unconditionally at all times in spite of the way I struggle to love Him no matter where He takes me. Take this book up as an encouragement--it will minister to your heart of pain.
