Relentless Pursuit is a summary of several people's life versions of the parable of the 1 lost sheep and the Shephard who leaves the 99 to go after the 1. In the middle of all of the other pursuit stories Gire weaves a tale of his own conversion to becoming a christian and pursuit story.
I found the book to have some excellent points, and to paint a vivid picture of how clearly God pursues us, and at the same time, there were large sections I had trouble tracking the author through. I didn't always find that all the life examples he presented were in sync with the final point for each chapter.
I did appreciate that each chapter ended with some very thought provoking discussion questions, and also that Gire included so much scripture with references in each chapter.
I would suggest this book as something to consider reading if you are wondering about whether or not God has every tried to pursue relationship with you. I would also suggest reading it if you need a reminder or encouragement that our relationship with God is uniquely ours.
