A friend and I are trading the audiobooks we buy at our local Christian bookstore, Christian based fictional stories. She listened to this one first while I listened to something else. After she told me about this one, I refused to listen to it, so this is more her review than mine.
"Just because God is mentioned once or twice does not make a book "Christian" and it is very upsetting and disturbing that this book would even be on their shelves, offered to the public as if it is. So beware if you are looking for an uplifting book to encourage you in your Christian faith; this book is nowhere near that category. This book is filled with gross, sick, and disgusting scenes of violence and revenge and cruelty. If I could get my money back, I certainly would, and if I could get them to take it off their shelves I would most certainly do that as well so that no one else would have this garbage in their minds. If you are not Christian and want to listen to some worldly, evil, medical science fiction nonsense, this is the book for you."
