Review 1 for Heavy Rain: Renew the Church, Transform the World
Date:January 5, 2013
One of the most challenging books I have ever read. The only reason I purchased Heavy Rain whilst in America attending a Supernatural Impartation conference and was looking for a book to take home - I liked the title! The first read was a 'skim' type read and I put it down. I decided to read it again. This time I couldn't put it down. I have read it three times and lent it to one of my sons and now am purchasing a second copy as I want to read it again. Kris writes as he sees it and takes promises particularly in the Old Testament that are normally relegated for another time and puts them where they are meant to be for us today. Very thought provoking. I highly recommend it.

Review 2 for Heavy Rain: Renew the Church, Transform the World
This is the first book by this author that I have gotten. I have to say I now want to read more by him. I would caution the most conservative Christians that want to stick to their idealistic, ritualistic, legalistic views to keep from this book unless they want a true revival to take place in their lives. Books like this are the type that challenge all Christians to live out side the box that we get so used to. I am ready to see the world be changed radically. This book is a great read - get ready for a challenge and change. It is one that I will most certainly be re-reading!
