I was in almost similar situation and was looking for hope how to wait on The Lord until victory but this book didn't give hope. It instead gave tools on how to accept things and move on. For me as a Christian it is fundamental to not accept the enemy's stealing and destroying but to stand firm until I get victory. We give up so easily. This book did not go to the root problem of why his wife did what she did, the fact that it was a spiritual warfare and by perseverance in prayer she could have been released and the marriage would have been saved. I became so sad that it ended like it did. Seems like we don't trust the Lord to bring us out of the pit and we don't stand in the gap for our spouses. Instead we move on and remarry.
I don't recommend this book to people going through similar situation because this tells them to move on instead to give them hope to stand firm and wait for the Lord's deliverance.

Forgiveness is paramount to any healing. Unforgiveness hinders healing and your ability to receive anything from God. You see, when we do not forgive, we shut off the flow of God’s grace from our lives. As a result, spiritual, emotional, and possibly even physical diseases are given permission to operate in us.
