I love my Bible and am reading it every day, but am very disappointed in the quality of the paper and the print.. the paper is so thin that I cannot use highlighters as it shows through the other side and the print is so small that I can only read with my strong glasses on and a full light... I thought of returning it but I have looked for so long for the NIV daily reading in chronological order..

I'm finally able to 'connect the dots' as far as understanding where things were in history when the scriptures were written, and able to appreciate the attitudes/emotions of the day when certain events took place. SO helpful in making it all more understandable/reasonable-truly amazing- in my mind!

I am really loving my daily journey through the Bible - even more than in the past because it is chronological and so understandable. My daily devotional time is a joy. A friend recommended this book as she is on her third year going through it and I am so glad I listened to her advice.

this is a great way to read through the bible. I am very pleased with the explantions given to explain a lot of the readings. I can't wait to open it everyday and find myself wanting to read more each day.

I love this Bible! I have tried to read through the Bible from cover to cover, but have never successfully did it. This Bible helped me reach my goal by putting the Bible in chronological order!

It Didn't really meet my expectations!! I was hoping for a good blend of commentary/devotion and scripture. There is a lot of Bible verses, but not nearly enough background and commentary, and even with the discount I thought it was not worth the money. Maybe, for a new Christian, it would be fine!!

I may have overstated as I have not read every study Bible, in fact this is my 1st and only. This Bible has greatly enriched my learning the Word of God. I find myself wanting to read more than 1 day at a time! Not a verse look up Bible but a learning Bible for sure! I'm buying them for my Daughter and Grandchildren for Christmas! And at these prices! What a deal for understanding it delivers. I highly recommend you buy this NOW!! All Glory to God!!

Easy to read impossible to look up scripture. So now I am having to put out more money to buy another bible to look up scripture. So i would not recommend this style unless U already have one to look up scripture in. If u do than U will have no worries

I have bought and been given many bibles over the years. The Way, Women's Devotional Bible, Parents Devotional Bible; Study Bibles, Life Application Bible, The Touch Point Bible, NLT One year Chronological Bible (my church actually used for a year in adult Sunday School) I have many translations too. But my all time favorite to read at home and study His word is this one. I am now on my third year through it. It is divided into manageable daily readings. I have given many as gifts, even to a dear pastor friend. The devotional insights that are prior to your readings are so helpful. Thanks so much!

This Bible is everything I wanted, the comments, cross-references, "book" style reading and most importantly in chronological order which makes it less confusing than a standard Bible. I am enjoying my Bible study much more now.

I love the fact that before each section it gives you a quick review/summary of what you are about to read. The NIV is very laymans terms to begin with, but the review makes it even easier to understand what you are about to read. I am just thankful there is a chronological bible so people like myself can understand Gods word.

So far I have purchased 4. One for me and 3 for my adult children who all requested one since I was using it with great joy. A bible that clearly explains what is happening at the time it was written. I am ahead of the date I am supposed to be on. But I have read this bible thru once last year and and am half way thru this year and enjoying every moment God is using it to draw me closer to Him with understanding. Thank you for this excellent book. I recommend this to all my friends who are serious about their bible study. Darlene Schibley
