Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? Warren W. Wiersbe tackles this question as he explores the life of Job in his commentary Be Patient. Through Job's story, we are reminded of God's sovereignty and encouraged to endure the suffering in our own lives. In a single day, Job's wealth was plundered, his ten children were killed, and his health was taken. His friends judged him and his wife did not stand by her man. But Job held on to his trust in Almighty God-a Father who is always good and always faithful. In addition to restoring his wealth and relationships, God gave Job a much greater blessing: a deeper knowledge of Himself and His ways.Trust the pastor's pastor, Warren W. Wiersbe, to guide readers into a better understanding of God's sovereignty as they face trials in their own lives.

Enjoy reading the book of Job!
Date:August 8, 2012
I would not have chosen Job as the book of the Bible that I am most eager to read. However, with Dr. Wiersbe's "Be Patient" commentary at my side, I loved reading through Job! His comments gave me insight into detail that I had not taken note of before. I highly recommend this book!
Has good reading material but too hard to get to. Have to always put in password even thought I bought the book. Sometimes it takes forever to open and sometimes it closes without me telling it too and I have to start all over again. I am visually impaired so it would have been much easier to read it from the book. I willl not order an electronic book again. I am sure it is good for other peiople, but not for me.
