This is a "must read" for anyone who wants to grow their faith, but hasn't found ways that work. Including any who are not attracted to books that use terms like "Spiritual Formation". This is a daily devotional aimed at bringing the reader to the feet of Jesus--to be discipled. But, unlike many I've used, this one is different.
Here you will be challenged--to your core, if... If you will take the time to read, reflect on, and respond to the day's text. Over the year you will have worked thru 17 spiritual disciplines, spending 20 days on each. Each day's reading ends with a challenge or an "assignment." Sometimes my wife & I find that easy; more often not. And there are times when it takes several days to complete.
You can start any time. Why not now?

Fantastic. I became very critical concerning christian writings, because much seems to be very copy/paste throughout generations, not really lived and experienced, because many authors spiritual life seems to consist more of preaching things and always thinking about them, than really living it, which would not satisfy them, because its not wholistically enough and often even wrong, crooked good feel teaching. Not so in this case.

I am so glad this published right before the beginning of the new year. It is a blessing! I appreciate its emphasis on spiritual disciplines, and the brief, but thoughtfully written readings chosen for each day. If you enjoy other resources from the Renovare crew, you will appreciate this as well.
