pamtidteach5 Stars Out Of 5Fantastic Spelling Program!April 29, 2013pamtidteachQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have been a teacher for over 30 years and have run a private Christian school for 15. This year I have moved back into our home to teach my three grandsons. I have third grade twin grandsons that had done traditional "spelling" programs since they started school, and honestly I had not seen any significant improvement in their spelling skills. They had not mastered or internalized the rules, and their spelling suffered for it. I had looked at this program for our dyslexic students in our school, but did not use it. I ordered level 1 for the twins and LOVE it!!!! This program teaches the patterns of spelling, same pattern for each week. Each day is a spelling test, but they are "learning tests" not memorization tests. After just a few weeks they had begun to transfer the spelling knowledge from the tests to their writing. I saw such an improvement in their spelling I will use all the levels as they go through the rest of their schooling. Cannot recommend it enough!

SayWhatSarah5 Stars Out Of 5Really like it!September 15, 2017SayWhatSarahQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We have been using Sequential Spelling for 3 weeks now and really like it! It is effective and easy to use. We had previously used All About Spelling, but it wasn't a right fit for my child. After starting this program, my daughter's spelling has improved immensely! She is finally retaining the words, instead of just remembering them for that week's test. I've even noticed her reading has improved too! I highly recommend this program.
I also like the student response book much better than the student workbook. You do not need both, only one or the other. I like that it is not bulky and the student can't peak at the previous day's words.
