I purchased these CDs for a teaching aid with an ADHD child who is slow at comprehending Math. His complaint? "THESE CDs ARE SO SLOW!"!! The instructors on the CDs go at such an agonizingly slow pace the students' focus wanders to other things besides Math!! Not what I expected from Saxon!!

Excellent. If you want to purchase Saxon, you will love this. My kid prefer to use it in combination with the texbook. It helps him to understand better the lesson. If he has something wrong and can`t see why, he use the Cd to see the problem solution methodoly. It helped him to understand better when he makes a mistake. Definitively a most.

My kids used Saxon Math for the first time in Charter School here in Utah. This last year I have decided to home school my 11 year old son for a couple of reasons. This home school pack has been FABULOUS! My son watches the DVD for about 15-20 minutes and then begins the lessons. He says the DVD is great and he understands everything the instructor teaches him. This is shown in his ability to do the assignments. All I have had to do is correct the assignments. He then revises the mistakes and we are done! Saxon Math is a must. There is an online exam from Saxon that you can print out and determine which level your child should be at. It worked great for us. It was right on.
