This book and accompanying study guide has been excellent in gaining a good, blblically sound foundation of the role of a deacon. The scriptural references and study guide take you deep into God's word and gives you an intricate look at the work of a "Minister of Mercy". It has been a blessing and a big help.

Excellent work on the Biblical office of Deacon. Especially needful corrective for the typical confusion of making Deacon equal to Elder in terms of church government and function.
