My daughter is a slob at writing so I thought for a summer project I would get the set, her writing has improved after book A now she is on to book B and loves doing the practice and is making a big difference, this isn't just for beginners, its great for anyone wanting to improve!!

I really like the idea behind this program. But I wish that there were more practice pages included in the workbook. Just a few lines for each letter. I've gotten my own blank handwriting notebook for my son to do extra practice in, because this just isn't giving him what he needs. It's great for teaching the letter form, but it's not enough practice for him to really get it down. The fact that I have to have something in addition takes down the value of the workbook for me....and I could have probably gotten away with just getting the teacher's manual and using my own handwriting notebook.

My youngest child is starting his homeschool adventure learning Italics handwriting, like his three older siblings. I like this workbook because it doesn't show two different types of handwriting but uses one way and then connectors to make it italics cursive. There is a lot of practice and the instructions are simple. I've greatly enjoyed using Italics handwriting as my children's forum in to writing.

Excellent instructional book for beginning writers. I've already seen an improvement in the fine motor skills and concentration of my 4 and 6 year olds.

Our family has used the Italic Handwriting Series A-G. They never complained about theirlessons. My daughters are older now, butthey consistently get compliments on their neat penmenship both in print and italic cursive. Thanks for such a great set of books!

Both of my children, who have very different learning skills have excelled using this product. I have one child who is very hard to get to sit down to do work, yet he will do 4-5 pages a day of handwriting because he does it well.
