I ordered this DVD after having read the biography, "David Livingstone, The Pathfinder" published by Heroes of the Faith and A Beka Book. The DVD is nothing more than a documentary, yet the description misleadingly allows one to believe that he or she will view actual footage of African scenery, such as Victoria Falls. The foliage and background is nothing more than fake foliage in a studio. The documentary itself is poor acting and the quality of the disc is low, with background noise about halfway through. There is actually more said about Stanley than about Livingstone. Livingstone is portrayed as more of an explorer than a missionary. This is just not the case. His earnest faith is demonstrated through and through in the biography. I was highly disappointed.
