This book is excellent at several levels, including its concise deconstruction of various pro-abortion arguments, and the enjoyable style. Peter Kreeft is an enjoyable author to read.

This book is excellent. It imagines a dialogue featuring that great seeker of truth, Socrates, and an abortionist, a philosopher, and a psychologist on the topic of abortion. This book is both entertaining and enlightening, as the reader is shown how correct reasoning works, while enjoying dialogues full of wit and wisdom. Excellent introduction to pro-life thinking.

If you are confused about the abortion controversy, and your not sure what the real issues are, then you need to read this. If you firmly believe that abortion is wrong, but you don't know how to defend your belief, then you need to read this book. If you believe abortion is a womans right and nobody has that right to take this choice from her, then you need to read this book. Kreeft's Socrates converses with three pro-choice characters, all specializing in one type of argument for abortion. Read it with an open mind and ask your self " Is abortion wrong" and let logic be your guide to the truth.
