Valerie GarvinCaliforniaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Best I've triedJune 4, 2011Valerie GarvinCaliforniaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5Wish I had used A Reason for Handwriting Cursive since the beginning. It doesn't have all the extra curly cues. I hate curly cues! I love that my son is writing scriptures instead of just words. A Reason for Handwriting does cost more than many handwriting workbooks, but it's worth it.

indigoflat005 Stars Out Of 5home school teacherNovember 22, 2016indigoflat00Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Public school no longer teaches cursive writing. My fith grader could not read or write cursive. Three weeks after purchasing this series she can read and write cursive! Our original constitution is in cursive! why would we ever stop teaching this skill?

SheaTexasAge: Under 18Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A wonderful way to practice handwriting!!!October 8, 2011SheaTexasAge: Under 18Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I wish I had known about these products when my children were younger and when we first started home schooling. I would definitey have purchased the whole series of books, and used the books all the way through with their handwriting practice. We have enjoyed the scripture practice. Plus, the extra sheets at the back of the books can be saved, or sent to family, or friends to encourage them in their walk with the Lord. I highly recommend these products.

Elizabeth Dill5 Stars Out Of 5Improved children's writing immediately.April 25, 2011Elizabeth DillQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I had done Italic writing for years with my first two children and had been disappointed with the results. The other problem with using Italic is it made it difficult for them to read the writing of others who use a more traditional style of writing. I recently gave my 17 year old A Reason for Writing and the change was immediate. Her handwriting is lovely and legible. My 13 year old is also using it and she is personally pleased with the results.

Pam Kler5 Stars Out Of 5February 15, 2010Pam KlerMy 11 year old daughter has worked through about 4 of the Reason for Handwriting series and we like them a lot. The lessons are short for each day, then on day 4 she gets to choose any picture sheet she likes and copies scripture on it to decorate as she chooses. She gets the work done, but gets to be creative as well, and my favorite part is that she is copying God's Word and enjoying it.
