We are amazed at this program already. We're only a week into it but it's working already. My daughter is enjoying it which is a huge improvement over the last program we tried (Handwriting Without Tears) and her writing is improving in just 1 week's time!!! The spacing is smaller which is easier for her to use. The approach is better for her (no need for multiple chalkboards, confusing paper and quirky ways of forming letters). And the font style they use is more natural feeling so easier to learn. Very pleased with this and we're totally converted to this series.

I really love all of the A Reason for Handwriting books. I have been using these materials, along with the Concerned Group's A Reason for Spelling for several years with my older children. I had not purchased the teacher guidebook previously, but I really appreciate the help it provides. Anyone who is just starting to teach will find the information valuable. It is clear and concise. Of course, all of these publications are reinforcing the Christian education that I am providing my children, which makes the materials even more essential. The books are also child friendly. They invite you in with bold, colorful pages, especially helpful with little ones. I have every reason to continue to use these books.

The books do not match up and trying to figure out which lessons go to which worksheets is a maze. I spent hours trying to figure out their "system" now I have just decided to send them back and find something that is simple to use. They should not try to shove 7 grades (including kindergarten) into one teachers book. I have no idea how this book is of any use and their website is even more useless. I am returning these books tomorrow.
