My daughter loves Saxon!! She does exceptionally well with saxon and looks forward to math everyday. It is very thorough and far more advanced than public school where she went for 2 months before we decided she wasnt learning anything and she begged to come back home and back to saxon.

The product is excellent. I swapped from another company's math curriculum to this one, and would recommend that others do the same. There are a couple of deep topics that you have to pay attention to the wording, but still very easy to understand.

We are using this for an SAT/ACT review course and it is perfect for that purpose. (we've done Precalculus already) Saxon builds in lots of review - including Geometry - and suggests taking the SAT/ACT at the 6-8 week point in this course. The 30 problems a day are a bit much as many require multiple steps -but they are the same type found on standardized tests. The course also keeps Precalc. skills fresh for those entering college Calculus. Christianbook service is excellent, and a return was processed quickly. (Exchanged Calculus for Advanced Math) The price was the best I found anywhere.
