I really appreciated all the information this book gave on the Prayer Shawl. It even explained why and how it should be used, as well as adding a couple prayers prior to putting it on.

In my studies of ancient Judea, the prayer shawl or "Tallit" was and still is a very personal way of prayer unto the Father. After buying many shawls for Christmas, Ive recieved so many thanks. Durring prayer it helps reduce the "outside world of noise" and allows you to focus on our Father. Even so it used traditionally by the Jews, I strongly believe any and all Christians truely seeking our Lord try it ; . . . Prayer time will never be the same, niether will reading the holy scriptures.

Unless you do not know anything at all about the prayer shawl then yes this book would be ok for you. Its information i thought was very limited and it wasnt indepth on anything. You can do a search online for a better read then this! I would recommand The hem of his garment by John Garr. Very indepth and it tells you why prayer shawls are used in the Jewish as well as Messanic religions.

It is interesting if you know nothing of the prayer shawl. The book was shorter than I expected for the price. It also did not really add that much to the information I had already gotten off the internet or seen on TV. I had hoped it would add more. If you know nothing about prayer shawls, their history and use, it is a good read.

I found this little book to have a lot of info and history in it. It helped me to understand the use of the prayer shawl and how to incorporate it into my prayer time. Good job. I would recommend that you buy this if you are getting a prayer shawl for the first time.

i wish there had been more to this project because there is so much that i learned after i read this small treasure, some of the things i came across in the reading i was already doing such as covering my head and making a tent, i am on a journey by way of the lord with the sacred garments because it is a path to stronger relationship with God.
