This is a book for the child in each of us. I have used examples of or referred to this book many times when referencing the Father.
My own children love the story even up to early teens.
It is a really reminder of the loving nature of the Father.

This is one of my most favorite children's books, although the message is applicable to any age (yes, even adults!). As our church's children's music ministry director, it has been my tradition for the past 12 years to read this book aloud at the conclusion of our final dress rehearsal. I want the kids to take away the assurance that God's love for each of them is simply because He is their Creator, not performance-based nor based on the approval (or disapproval) of man. I tie the message of the book in with Psalm 139 and Isaiah 43:1.

What a wonderful book for all ages! It touched my heart when I first read it as an adult. I bought it most recently for a child, and ended up reading it as an illustration while teaching a College and Career Sunday School class.

I have given this book, many times over, as a gift for births and children of all ages. The only complaint I have (if you can call it that) is that I have a hard time reading it without getting "choked up".
This story has a universal message of God's unconditional love for each that He created...powerful stuff...spread the word!

This is one of my favorite books, I've loved it ever since I was a child. The message is so great, it applies to both children and adults.
I love the story line of the wemmicks; whenever I read this story it reminds me that I am special because I am God's, and that is really what the message is all about.

A good friend gave this book to our family years ago and I have read it to my children many times. I purchased this copy to give to another family. Every family should have a copy of this one. It's a good reminder that God loves us "just because."

I have regularly ordered this book and have given it as a gift to both children and adults. It is filled with simple and foundational truths for all, and particularly Christians. The whole Wemmick series is well illustrated and written. They are enjoyable even after the 20th time through. Enjoy!

This was given to my daughter for her first Christmas, by a Christian friend, when I was not a Christian. I loved it then, and love it more now. It is a story that I know my daughter (& now son) will remember and live by, for the rest of their lives.
