Saxon Publishing Math 76, Fourth Edition, Home School Kit in a Retail Box

Proven results, including higher test scores, have made Saxon Math ™ the hands-down favorite for homeschoolers. That's because only Saxon helps you teach the way your child learns best - step by step. We call it incremental development with continual practice and review. Each new skill builds on those already taught; daily review of earlier material increases understanding; and frequent, cumulative assessments ensure that your child masters each skill as new ones are added. The result? More confidence, more willingness to learn, more success.

Saxon Math 7/6 is a balanced, integrated mathematics program for the sixth grade. Introduces the new concepts, procedures, and the vocabulary your child needs to be successful in upper-level algebra and geometry courses. Math 7/6 teaches compound interest; functions and coordinate graphing; integers; exponential expressions; divisibility concepts; prime factorization; ratios and proportions; radius, circumference and pi; statistics and probability; and complementary and supplementary angles.

Kit includes:

  • Student Textbook with 120 daily lessons, 12 investigations, an illustrated glossary and supplemental practice in a brand new two-color format.
  • Tests and Worksheets Booklet with testing schedule and 23 cumulative tests, facts practice tests, and activity sheets.
  • Solutions Manual with full step-by-step solutions to all lesson and investigation problems, solutions to the 23 tests, and answers to supplemental practice problems and facts practice problems.
Box is a display carton.

Saxon Math has worked really well for my kids. I love that a student can work independently on their lesson and get help from their teacher if needed.

Great program so far, we've only just started the year of schooling. I particularly love the way lessons build on one another so comprehension is guaranteed and workload doesn't seem overwhelming.

We tried Math U See and Teaching Textbooks, but found that our daughter was not retaining what she learned. I ordered Saxon 6/7 to do with her this summer, and am thrilled with it. It only takes 15-20 minutes each day, but she is retaining it and making great progress. I like the simple format, and so far, the new concepts are clearly taught. I hope we can continue with Saxon all through high school.

This is our second year using Saxon Math. We love it. The material is presented slowly which helps build confidence for the less-than-excited math student. At the same time Saxon provides solid math skills that stick with the student over time.

I have used other programs, and I wont use anything else now. I used to hate teaching math, I admit it, but with Saxon I look like genius, and I actually get it!

Saxon Math is always a great way to go. This was the best value for a new set I could find online.
