I like to underline all important statements. I found myself underlining like crazy, he is so interesting and he was following the word of God. I was in Bible Study Class studying the Sermon on the Mount which was an excellent class and this book makes you just want to read it all. Oh for more time available. R.T. Kendall was a great teacher and this would make and excellent resource book to have available and read at your leisure. I can't begin to explain how great this Author is, so awesome.

This book is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of the Sermon on the Mount. Unlike some commentaries that skip over difficult verses, this commentary covers the passage verse by verse. The writer clearly explains the passage and also directs you to other relevant scripture.

This book would also be an excellent daily devotional book.

The most wonderful, insightful, book that I have read in years. It makes one examine why we as Christians do what we do. I thank God for this book!
