the New King James is a very easy to understand translation and with the Scofield notes it make reading the Bible a gift of knowledge. I can not speak highly enough of the joy I feel of not having to try to translate the King James into understandable English and then view the notes. I am now looking at the NIV version next to see what it has to offer.

I received this Bible at the end of 2011 and have gone completely through it this past year. I have two previous 1967 KJV's that are getting quite worn and the print seems to be shrinking. This hardback large print Study Bible III is exactly what I needed to stay up to date in the Word. It is the foundation of my entire study and remains open nearby even when I am studying from another translation. The larger size and print is perfect for longer study sessions at home.

I found this Bible lacking in information considering it is supposed to be a Study Bible. I found it had no information and I reverted back to the Macarther (not a NJKV) Bible I had bought previously which had much more information that made the Bible easier to understand.

I had my last Scofield for 35 years and I anticipate using this one for that long too. I love the larger print, maps in the text, and updated notes. This is an excellent bible study tool and it's pretty enough to carry to church. I wouldn't change a thing about it. The staff helped me find a Drake xxl bible cover for it and that's terrific!

I thought of buying a Scofield NKJV Bible some years ago, but the price was high. On this occasion I was looking for a large print NKJV Bible, which I intend to cut into individual pages to make a loose-leaf Bible, since the publishers of the NKJV loose-leaf Bible are not reprinting. I would never have thought that I would be able to afford a large print Scofield NKJV Bible, so this has turned out to be a bonus for my loose-leaf project, resulting in a unique personal Bible at a bargain price.

I don't like giving poor reviews but I really didn't think the quality of the NKJV Scofield was up to it's regular value. I have a KJV Scofield from 1977 that is still in fair condition (geniune cowhide). I strongly suggest that anyone looking for a Scofield Bible go for genuine leather or cowhide. I would also choose one with wider margins so one can write notes if they want to. It is very heavy. Not sure if a Large Print can be made lighter or not. As for Scofield Study Bibles in general - can't be beat if your theology leans toward Dispensations. Mine does.

I gave the Bible to a friend as a gift. She's just beginning Bible study and absolutely loves the Bible. The thumb index, the fact that it's exactly the kind of soft cover she wanted anad of course the "study" factor-with so much detailing regarding the chapters!

I especially like the King James' Scofield Bible and have used one for many years. My old Bible was the 1967 version and has been a great help to me. With this new King James large print, I feel this will last as the other did. (I do find it a bit large and heavy, but understand this is necessary with large print.) I am looking forward to many years of good study!

I bought this bible for my mom for her birthday. She said that she liked my bible which is the same one only not large print so I got her this one. The only things I didn't care for were the large size of this bible and the $20 extra for the large print. Otherwise though this bible is excellent and she loves it! Thanks a lot!
