The wisdom of the ages can still be read through the Crossway Classic Commentaries, which present the very best all-time commentaries on individual books of the Bible. Each volume has been abridged and stylistically adapted for today's readers, but also carefully preserves the original meaning and message of the expositor. New to the series is Martin Luther's commentary on Galatians. His unveiling of this New Testament text will give pastors and serious Bible students a thorough handle on its key passages, including the dangers of legalism and divisions within the faith. For hundreds of years Christendom has been blessed with Bible commentaries written by great men of God who were highly respected for their godly walk and tehir insight into spiritual truth. ever since it was written, the apostle Paul's letter to the believers in Galatia has nurtured trust and assurance in Christ. Its grand themes of the superiority of Scripture over human reason, the sufficiency of Christ's atonement through his death, and the freedom of justification through faith alone continue to energize and enlighten Christians today. This classic commentary from the heart of a courageous apostle will encourage and equip all who desire to undertand, live out and communicate the true gospel of Jesus Christ

I have always had difficulty holding on to justification by the law and works. This Commentary by Luther was the best thing for my spiritual life. Reading this took a great burden off of my shoulders. Luther is relentless at making you understand Justification by Faith. This book changed my life. Highly recommended for the troubled conscience.

The author does an excellant presentation and requirement of justification in your Christian walk. We are all too critical of our selves, and as a result, slide back into LAW.

I love the depth that Martin goes into. I have found his inspiration a comfort to me as I studied the verse by verse. He also breaks down the verses into sentences and gives detail information. I have had questions for years and as I read this Commentary I have gotten answers to my questions. McGee is wonderful and concise where Martin is deep.Esther Mae:
