I always enjoy the Love Inspired books, when I’m looking for something that is a bit lighter and easier to read than some others. Of course, I still want to read a good story and be drawn into the lives of the characters. Her Valentine Hero lives up to those expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. What I like the best about this author is that, even in an easy read, she writes well-developed characters that have depth. This is certainly the case in Her Valentine Hero. Both the leading characters, Neely and Jon, are complex individuals with interesting thoughts, motivations and behaviors. It is fun to see how the characters work through problems of job loss, cantankerous parents, and letting go or holding tight to old perceptions. If you enjoy a well-written, contemporary romance, you won’t be disappointed in Her Valentine Hero.
