This was my first year picking my children's curriculum, they schooled at home previously with online public school.

Through a program I was considering using this year, it incorporated Saxon math and then through much research decided it would be the best choice for us. SO glad we picked it. Of course then we had to decide if we wanted to spend So much money on the DVD's too. Based on the fact we were purchasing for our oldest of 4 children (6th grader) we determined for the cost of only replacing the workbook for subsequent children this was a risk worth taking.

The curriculum is perfect for our son who is average at math. It has a great combination of review with new concepts. This allows me a lot of freedom from his math and gives him a feeling of independence. He is very confident and doing well on every test. These DVD's guide him through the days lesson word for word from the text with a small amount of complimentary information. Unlike the last two years he will easily finish this level and potentially move on to the next level before the conclusion of the year..

Awesome Job Teaching Tape!
As a side note I had a problem with one CD in the set and I contacted Teaching Tape. They quickly fixed my issue really no questions asked.

We are very pleased with Saxon and Teaching Tape.
