Cumberland House Publishing The Original Elsie Classics Series (Softcover), Volumes 25-28
Penned in the mid-nineteenth century, the original Elsie books were written by Martha Finley as a means to support herself after she suffered a serious injury. Finley wrote 28 Elsie books before her death in 1909. She is buried in a small cemetery around the corner from her house, which still stands in Elkton, Maryland. Recommended for ages 10 to 14. '

I am 29 years old I just purchased two sets of these. One for my daughters 9th birthday (and for me!). And the other for my niece who just turned 12. My sister and I got these books when I was 15 we both loved them so much. I have read all 28 of them 3 or more times and they never get old! Thank you cbd for keeping these wonderful classics in stock! And at a good price! My mother paid 15 dollars a piece for our set, they were hard covers though, but when I found them for. 3.99 a book she was jealous. My sisters in law, all three of them, ordered a set for their children too. Wonderful classics at a wonderful price! Thanks again cbd! =)

this book is wonderful. i have read the whole series and it is totally wonerful. i would recomend the book to any young girl
