In this text Jack O. Balswick, Pamela King and Kevin S. Reimer lay out a theological basis for understanding the nature of persons and the self, and then on that basis work out the implications for the development and maturity of the self through various states of life. They also address the implications for ministry in the context of the life of the church. This is a book that will shed light on who we are and how we become who we were meant to be by being in right (reciprocal give and take) relationship with God through Christ and with each other.
