Each chapter in this book stands alone as a brief description of the history, theology and values of the various Protestant traditions. Having only recently received this book I have only read a few of it's chapter namely Lutheranism and Methodism. Thus far I would say this book is well written and gives you a good idea of the beliefs of the various traditions. Keep in mind everyone has a bias, both the author and the readers. The author's bias seems to be Dispensational. I think the author makes a concerted effort to be fair and balaced and for the most part has done so, but I would expect his bias to leak through every now and then. Obviously this is not an exhaustive treatment of any one tradition so, as such don't be supprised if when reading about the tradition your most familiar with, you feel he emphasised some areas at the expence of others.
