Bloesch was a gift to the church. He had a wonderful ability to see and present complex issues with clarity. In the church today, there is a justifiable desire to live out our faith in a way that would be considered spiritual. But especially in the American church, this can lead to all sorts of self expression that have more in common with the human potential movement than authentic Christianity. Bloesch, using his foundational principal of balancing the Word with the Spirit, exposes us to the possibility of a truly spiritual life. But this meaningful life is to be found by delving deeper into the timeless truths of our faith, not by following trends. The modern experiment, with it's focus on the individual, must be swallowed up by a surrender to the God of our fathers.

This is a good tool for Christian Education. Makes you ask yourself some very tough questions. As usual, the product came in a timely manner and it meets and exceeds the requirement I was looking for.
