This book provides help, encouragement and tools for those going through the pain of any type of loss. The study guide helps anyone in grief to understand and personally process the stages of grieving: Denial, Fear, Anger, Guilt and Sadness. Then, the topics of Hope, Faith, Acceptance and Praise provide encouragement and further healing. What makes this study so powerful is that each lesson includes a Psalm to read and discuss. In the Psalms, David shares his pain and how God is always there to provide comfort, strength and hope. Including God in the healing process makes this study work! The back of the book provides excellent "Leader's Notes" to help facilitators with each lesson. There is also a section which offers practical and valuable "Tips For Starting And Leading A Grief Support Group" for those wanting to begin facilitating a grief support group. This is a great tool to offer help and hope to those who are grieving any type of loss.
