This student workbook set includes everything your student needs to get the consistent practice needed for understanding math. The two workbooks include over 130 worksheets (with perforated edges for easy removal), as well as assessment forms. Twenty-six pages of color-coded "fact cards" provide plenty of addition, subtraction multiplication, and division review. Grade 3.

Saxon Math curriculum is BY FAR the best in the world! Love the way they continually reviewing old concepts while introducing new. I wouldn't change our curriculum for all the money in the world!

I really like the Saxon math books. They review each concept all the time so the student does not forget one thing while they are learning another thing.

We are very pleased so far with the Saxon 3 curriculum as it takes a student through new materials without abandoning the skills learned previously. My daughter loves that much of her lesson can be done independently!

The workbook set is great practice for the student. Each day's lesson reviews the previous day's and builds upon the concepts learned.
The workbook is set up not by page number but by lesson number. The assessments for this grade are included in chronological order as the child works through the book. Also, a plus for the home teacher is that record keeping forms are included in the student workbook part 1.
On the downside, the pages are black and white, which can be a little boring if you are used to a more colorful curriculum.
This is our first year using Saxon math in our home school and so far we are pleased with it.

I have used Saxon Math since I began homeschooling, and it is the only curriculum I haven't ventured away from to try new things. It really delivers! The kids understand the concepts easily because of the way they are broken down and built upon. I prefer hardback text books because they are more durable, but you can't beat the price!

I have 1 son whom is a wiz at math. I think his success had his younger sister sure she couldn't. Well, Saxon math built her self esteem, and now has her even getting quite ahead. She enjoys it and so do I. Also LOVE those calenders that come with the Saxon math!!

This will be my first year using Saxon Third Grade curriculum, but I used the Kindergarten & 2nd Grade last year, & found it to be very helpful. The scripts provided for each lesson so you know exactly how to teach & what to use is awesome! I am hoping that the 3rd grade materials are perfect for my child this year, as there were some things in the 2nd grade stuff that were a little too easy.

Saxon is undeniably the best math program I've ever used. After home schooling my 13 year old until his seventh grade year, we had him tested before he entered public school. His math scores were on a tenth grade level. Saxon really does teach the funamentals exceedingly well. I have two other children that we are still home schooling. I will use Saxon as I continue home schooling my third and fifth grader.I highly recommend this product.

I am new to Saxon Math and my two older boys love it! They are Grades 2 & 3. This workbook is used with the teacher's manual and meeting book. The teacher's manual is very detailed and thorough but don't be overwhelmed. Lessons are scripted and cover a range of activities and skills each day (spiral learning) so it's not the same drill day after day. This book contains timed assessments (they enjoy the challenge and try to beat the clock) and workbook sheets they do on their own after you go over the material with them. My boys can't wait to do their math and ask to do it on days off!
