This is the book I waited for all of my Christian life. I approached witnessing with either dread or an overwhelming sense of obligation, with little if any joy. Desiring to please God in this area and reach out to others in need of hearing the good news kept me searching. So far I've learned that I no longer have to feel like I have to clinch a deal like a used-car salesman, and secondly, that in the context of community we work together to create an atmosphere of belonging that draws the non-Christian into wanting to listen to the message of Christ in the first place; and finally, learning to listen to and follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit as an everyday, natural occurrence. For the first time, I actually feel excited about the "E-Word! Thanks loads.
