My son (9) loves loves LOVES Jonathan Park. Is it a little cheesy at times,Yes. But we would prefer cheesy over the junk on the radio and TV any day. We are here to impress God only no one else.

Everyone is quiet in the van when these stories are playing. I often have my children's friends along for a ride and these are the most requested stories. I also find that the comprehension of scientific theories and the importance of balancing a biblical view with a worldview are improving as we continue to listen to these stories. Lots of high learning from an easy story to listen to.

The Jonathan Park series is an excellent way to engage kids with proofs of a world-wide flood and the Biblical account of history. Sort of a Lassie-meets-Adventures-in-Odyssey-style production, the episodes are full of scientific information with a side of adventure. I get lost in listening to these along with my daughter!

We really enjoy the Jonathan park series it has a lot of good information in it. However, as always use it as a starting point, and check your facts first. Also the mission to the moon episodes were a bit over the top for me. I am still puzzled what benefit it was for the creation response team to stop a documentary upon the supposed faked landing. I don't see what it has to do with creation/evolution. nonetheless a lot of good info about the moon in it. Just seems they could have picked a better way to do it. Anyway that is my only complaint, all in all a great set and value as just about all of them are.

The producers of this series neglect to reference their information in any form. No references is ever given either on the CD or in the Study Guide for ANY information presented in the series. Even the voice actors of the series are not given any credit anywhere. We only know that the series is a production of Vision Forum Ministries.
Volume 3 of Jonathan Park contains 12 episodes where we see the formation of the Creation Response Team, a group of Young-Earth Creationists (consisting of the Park and Brenan families and their friends) out to fight ‘evolution’. In this volume, the characters ride in a helicopter in the middle of a hurricane in Florida; ‘save’ a boy in Iraq and bring him to the US; gather fossils from the Grand Canyon; break into NASA’s computers and prove that the moon landings were real; and save a geologist from his kidnappers in Alaska. All within months of each other. It is very far-fetched and outrageous at times. Very cartoonish and over-the-top. The characters have sophisticated gadgets and gizmos which would rival a James Bond movie.
This volume contains several factual errors. Some of them are flat out wrong, eg, Ayer’s Rock is stated as being four miles high and a 100lb. person is said to weigh 353.3lbs on Jupiter. The characters also do illegal things like excavate fossils from the Grand Canyon and break into NASA’s computer system and alter data there without any repercussions. And, adopting a child from Iraq is not as easy as the show seems to imply.
Mainstream scientific ideas and findings are misrepresented. Over and over again evolution is stated as being the theory for the origin of life that is based on random chance processes. The characters claim that there is no evidence for evolution and that there are no transitional fossils. Other times, teleological arguments are put forth as ‘proof’ for a Creator. All these are false statements and poor arguments.
Hypocrisy is another feature in this volume. The characters frequently ridicule and mock (misrepresentations of) evolutionary ideas, saying that they are based on assumptions and that Creation makes more sense, not recognising that Creation is based on assumptions too. It does not handle the evolution-creation controversy in a fair manner.
In conclusion, I would strongly recommend NOT listening to this series.

This series is such a blessing to our family! We homeschool our 3 children-ages 5,7, and 10-and they LOVE Jonathan Park! We all learn sooo much...history, bible and science! We can NOT get enough! The study guides are awesome and help us dive deeper into the content of the stories.
This series must make GOD sooo very happy!!

I love Jonathan Park. This volume was very good. I really like a good adventure story. Some episodes are intense, and you might not want to let younger children listen. Destination Moon was my personal favorite. Keep up the good work Vision Forum!

We have used all of these volumes and are so pleased with its contents and presentation of the truth. We have been so encouraged that our children love to listen to these series over and over. They learn by repetition, and never tire of the Jonathan Park series. Our children's ages are 2,3,5,7,8,10, and 12. All of them love listening during car rides, over lunch etc.. We strongly believe it is important to equip our children with materials that prepare them to defend the Truth, and with this Biblical and scientific background they are being prepared with this wonderful material. We highly recommend it. I even used it in a homeschooling class at church while mothers were in a Bible study. The study guides are fantastic!!!Learning to be prepared with an answer,Tamara from Ohio
