Kidner is a top-notch scholar and gifted writer. He writes from a conservative perspective. If anyone is seeking a brief, reliable, and accessible guide to the message of Psalms 73-150, this is it. This commentary is relatively brief. It does not attempt a detailed study of the Hebrew language, nor extensive interaction with alternative viewpoints, but what it does, it does very well.
