The strong academic emphasis placed within a faith-based context makes this product unique. It introduces basic understandings in number, operation and quantitative reasoning including patterns, relationships and algebraic thinking, alongside foundations of faith. The songs are upbeat and catchy. Children are introduced to the excitement and extensiveness of math through music, story telling, dramatic play and innovative activities. Puppets serve as newscasters on an inquiry-based mission to find out how numbers are used. Throughout the investigative mission, Bible Stories and characters are used to make connections and provide a context from which to learn. Great for Christian preschools or for parents who want to give children a head start on learning early math skills. The DVD run-time is over 45 minutes with an additional 30 minutes of kid-friendly bonus features.
