Customer Reviews for Whitaker House Publishers Holiest of All

Whitaker House Publishers Holiest of All

It is only the full and perfect knowledge of what Christ is and does for us that can bring us to a complete Christian life. In this study of the Epistle to the Hebrews, Murray explains: how to have a life of joy, strength, and final victory; the cure for all our failures and weaknesses; how to destroy the Devil's power; God's holy place; the power of the blood; the witness of the Holy Spirit; and false and true riches. Christians can always live in victory and inherit the promises in the Bible! In this updated edition for the modern reader, words, expressions, and sentence structure have been revised for clarity and readability.

To understand being a Christian can only be accomplished by understanding God himself, which is a omnibus accomplishment, though it is not an event, it is a process. A process of growth that varies from Christian to Christian according, not only to what the person values in that process but perhaps more so Gods dealings in that person's life. It is a relationship between two persons, that of the Christian and that of God. Andrew Murray has masterfully examined and explained this process, and as is true of many of his writings, been able to skillfully present it to the reader. Not only is the depth of the Holiness of God revealed but an explanation of how, through the Spirit to obtain such a relationship.

Pastor Andrew Murray's study of Hebrews is as relevant and as powerful today as when he wrote it more than 100 years ago. His book Absolute Surrender revolutionized my walk with Jesus Christ; this book, The Holiest Of All, advances us in our knowledge of the One who saved us and who continually intercedes for us before the Father in Heaven. It is a tremendous builder of faith and confidence in Him. I highly and heartily recommend it to all who desire to know their Savior better.

Jesus Christ has done it all!! Now we can boldly enter into Father’s bosom and we are to live with Him here and now. This book has helped me understand how this victorious life, here and now, is all possible every moment.

I have not finished this, but it is one of the most complete studies on the entire Christian life -- the true walk, explaining the rest of God and the importance of entering the Holiest of All (God's presence).

This book is Andrew Murray at his best. It is a timeless classic, filled with divine revelation on the priesthood, the person and the sonship of Jesus Christ- the everliving son of God. His purpose in writing this book is to strenghten the weak and feebled knee, those who need to find the victory in christ, here and now.
