I found this book an excellent teaching tool for the new in Christ and for the mature in Christ. The book is an easy read for the writer shares life lessons, Biblical truths, and instruction in a way that keeps your attention. It is a good tool for teaching how a relationship with the Lord helps us hear His voice. It teaches how important it is to spend time with the Lord as one must do in any relationship. We need to hear God's voice. This book a good study for a small group. It is a timely message for the Church.

This book is an excellent resource. Marilyn applies biblical truths in very easy to read terms and shares her own personal stories and experience. She also incorporates scripture and shares very practical ways that readers can implement scripture reading and memorization into their lives.

Not what I expected. If you enjoy long stories, this book would be FIVE STARS. If you desire a more biblical guidance and direction, keep looking. I must repeat IF YOU ENJOY LONG STORIES....BUY THIS BOOK. THIS BOOK DESERVES FIVE STARS...if you desire a more biblical approach, please, do not buy this book.

I apprecite this book because it is full of specific verses & principles from God's Word, and practical guidelines for listening to God & hearing what He says! I have recommended this book to our summer book club & 14 of us are reading it -- we will take 3 weeks to go through the discussion guides at the end of each section. We are getting lots of good feedback from our book club members. Excellent book to help us grow in our walk with God!

This is an amazing book that truly teaches you how to "be still and know that I am God". The author gives personal accounts to drive home the point and I am amazed at how she truly does have God talk with her in a very real way. I think every Christian should have this book as a resource. I have gone back and re-read parts of it often. WONDERFUL!
