I am doing the Experiencing God Workbook, along with the Living Day-to Day With God Devotional and Journal. The combination has really helped me in understanding and developing my relationship with God, and people. I'm only in Unit 5, but have gained so much insight about the Word of God. Some lessons have been challenging, but it a good way because I know I'm learning and growing spiritually. I have had so many comfirmations through my Devotionals and Workbook, and I hear God more clearly now. This Workbook is a must have for every Christian, as well as, non-Christian seeking to know more about God and their purpose.

have recently joined a group Bible study at my work. not only with staff that wanted to come but now have a class with residents. my boss is a new christian and is leading the groups. this is the perfect book to use to bring us all closer to experiencing God just as the title claims.

I stumbled across Experiencing God when looking for a new Bible Study to do at our church. I had heard of it, but had never known anyone who had gone through it. After reviewing it, I decided to use it for discipleship with a small group, rather than a large group Bible study. While I don't agree with everything Mr. Blackaby writes, I do believe there is a lot of good to be found in this book. It has been a good resource to disciple newer Christians to take that next step and go further in their walk with Christ. As with any Bible study, it's written by man, so you have to take what's good and discard what's not. I've found most of it to be valuable, though, and would highly recommend it to anyone. We used it with the accompanying videos, which did give another level of input to the study, but the bulk of what you will learn comes from the workbook.

Although I needed the unrevised version, I still like this workbook. It makes you a part of the study by asking you to write various things pertaining to whatever the lesson is at the time.

My wife and I studied this almost 20 years ago. We are now reviewing it again as we mentor a young Christian. Our church is using a number of Mr. Blackaby's books to help anyone who is trying to fall in love with Jesus, to build or better cement their current relationship with our Lord and Savior.

It's an excellent study! My husband and I are doing it every evening and are thoroughly enjoying the way it's presented and the way the author suggests applying the material. We had never been through a discipleship program when we first got saved and feel this is long overdue. Good for old and new Christians alike.
